“My work is predominantly a short form, human-made approach to emotive story-making through films about peoples imperfections and connections.

I was always told that I was too sensitive as a kid and I’ve tried to hold onto that and use it as a strength throughout my life. My favourite thing about creating a story is that you can make people feel less alone, like they’re being seen. For me it is about being thoughtful enough to connect with an audience on a human level every time. I am obsessed with naturalism and work tirelessly to capture honest performances that compel and stay with a viewer.

As well as a career in film making I am an accomplished musician, currently writing and recording for Sony’s music publisher ‘Extreme Music’. I always work very closely with my long time collaborator, Tom Keech, to create bespoke, live-played soundscapes and scores. These are often an integral part of my work, adding vast impact and a uniquely raw connection-point.”
