This project began with a single line in my head - ‘Dementia Doesn’t Care’.

It doesn’t care about our families, about the love we have for each other or the history we share. It doesn’t care about our life achievements and accolades.

The charity (Younger People with Dementia) means so much to me personally. Whilst I was writing, they provided me with numerous real-life diary entries from teenagers who are having to become carers for their own parents. As a father, and as a son, these stories broke my heart and this is what came out of that feeling - ‘Little Rock’, a short film made with nothing but integrity and compassion. I hope you feel it too!

Starring an incredible cast; Adolescence’s Amelie Pease  Dune’s Neil Bell and Kate Hampson (Happy Valley, Emmerdale) I was inspired and blown away by what we managed to achieve in two intensely beautiful days together

Please share the film and spread the message, that when a parent is diagnosed, it’s not just their future that changes, there are children watching too.
